All-on-4 Dental Implants
for Complete Restoration

Patients who are missing most or all of their teeth may be candidates for All-on-4 dental implants. This treatment uses four implants to support a full arch of replacement teeth in the upper or lower jaw. It may be especially beneficial for patients who are dissatisfied with the fit, maintenance, or limitations of traditional dentures.

In the past, replacing a full arch with implant-supported teeth often required six or more implants. The All-on-4 approach can reduce that number by placing two implants toward the front of the jaw and two toward the back. This positioning helps maximize support while making use of the available bone. Once the implants are in place, a prosthetic can be attached to restore the appearance and function of the smile.

To ensure that you have a clear understanding of what is involved in the All-on-4 dental implant procedure and/or to determine if All-on-4 dental implants are right for you, please refer to the information provided below. If you have additional questions or would like to schedule an appointment, contact us today at 281- 359-9100, or visit our office at 1542 Green Oak Pl, Kingwood, TX 77339.

We look forward to working with you and helping you achieve the highest level of healthcare!

Benefits of All-On-4 Dental Implants

There are a range of benefits that patients who have All-on-4 dental implants will enjoy, the most important being improved overall oral health and a bright, natural-looking smile that they can feel confident in. Additional benefits of All-on-4 dental implants include the following:

  • More cost-effective than having a bridge implant or a single tooth
  • More comfortable and less maintenance required compared to dentures
  • Keeps adjacent teeth healthy
  • Reduces additional bone loss from occurring
  • Implant can be placed even if bone loss has already occurred
  • Implant can be placed in one visit, which significantly reduces the treatment time involved
  • Eliminates the need for dentures
  • Faster recovery time than traditional implants
  • Easy to maintain
  • Returns your ability to enjoy your favorite foods
  • Enhanced self-confidence and a younger appearance
  • Evenly distributes bite forces
  • Long-lasting results

If you currently have dentures and are unsatisfied with the way they feel and the maintenance required, and/or if you are missing most or all your teeth, All-on-4 dental implants may be the best treatment option to provide you with a long-lasting solution that will significantly improve your overall quality of life.

Aftercare for All-on-4 Dental Implants

Following the placement of All-on-4 dental implants, you will need to follow a soft food diet to avoid putting pressure on your teeth and jawbone, slowly reintroducing harder foods over time. Recovery time will be different for every patient, but many patients are able to return to a normal diet within six weeks of the procedure. During this recovery period, it is also common to experience bleeding, which can typically be stopped using gauze pads. Swelling and mild discomfort are also common, but can generally be managed with ice packs and over-the-counter pain-relieving medication, or in some cases prescription medication, which should be taken as directed.

Once you have fully healed, it will not be necessary to continue any post-procedural modified self-care, although it is important to consistently follow good oral hygiene practices. In addition to brushing and flossing twice daily (at a minimum), be mindful of the types of food and beverages you consume, and avoid foods or substances that can negatively impact your oral health (chewing tobacco, staining foods, sugary drinks). It is equally important to schedule regular dental cleanings every six months, or more frequently, depending upon your unique oral health needs. If you follow these general guidelines, you will maximize the longevity of your All-on-4 dental implants and enjoy a healthy smile for many years to come!

All-on-4 Implants Cost
& Dental Insurance

The cost of having All-on-4 dental implants will depend upon the length of the procedure, what materials are used, and what insurance coverage from your dental plan can be applied. It is important to be aware that you are fully responsible for all fees of treatment, and payment is due at the time of service, regardless of your insurance coverage. Monthly payment plans can be arranged, but this will need to be accomplished prior to the procedure being performed. Although we will not have a contractual arrangement with your provider, our staff is happy to assist with processing your insurance claim to ensure that you maximize your benefits and receive the high-quality care you need and deserve. For your convenience, we accept Mastercard, Visa, and Discover.
